сокр PCNСистема оплаты медицинских услуг при групповом страховании [ group plan], когда наниматель полностью, без доплаты части премии служащим и без сумм исключения [ deductible], оплачивает медицинское страхование служащих своей фирмы. Страхуемый выбирает себе врача из числа участников данной системы в качестве семейного доктора, который в случае необходимости направит пациента либо на консультацию к специалисту, либо в больницу. Врач при этом получает гарантированную клиентуру, но 20 процентов гонорара отчисляет в фонд оплаты специалистов и госпитализации. Неиспользованная часть этого фонда в конце года распределяется между врачами - участниками системы. Эта система впервые была опробована "Голубым крестом" [ Blue Cross] штата Арканзас. В этом штате она привела к сокращению дней госпитализации на одну пятую, но увеличила число визитов к семейному врачу в четыре раза. В результате пациенты остались довольны, так как могут, не опасаясь разорения, посещать врача; наниматель за счет сокращения случаев госпитализации своих работников сокращает соответствующие расходы на 17 процентов, а "Голубой крест", получающий 50 процентов резервного фонда, предотвращает переход клиентуры к конкурентам.English-Russian dictionary of regional studies > primary care network
